Calibration

Shen.AI (ANVISA) supports the standard blood-pressure calibration workflow through initializationMode.

Calibration uses external blood pressure readings entered by the user and stores the resulting calibration data locally on the current device or browser, partitioned by userId.

Initialization modes

  • MEASUREMENT: standard measurement with no calibration data.
  • CALIBRATION: starts the calibration workflow, requiring external blood pressure readings and multiple SDK scans.
  • CALIBRATED_MEASUREMENT: applies previously stored calibration data, if available, to adjust blood pressure metrics.

If no matching local calibration data is found, CALIBRATED_MEASUREMENT falls back to the standard measurement flow.

lib/main.dart
final settings = InitializationSettings() ..initializationMode = InitializationMode.calibration; final initResult = await ShenaiSdk.initialize(API_KEY, USER_ID, settings: settings);

Important notes

  • Calibration data is stored locally and does not automatically sync across devices or browsers.
  • If userId is omitted, calibration data is stored under a default bucket on the current device/browser.
  • When the calibration workflow finishes successfully, the SDK sends a USER_FLOW_FINISHED event.

See Initialization for the supported ANVISA initialization settings.
